Lucien Buck Excellence in Psychology Endowed Scholarship This scholarship is established by the Dowling College Chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, in honor of Dr. Lucien Buck, the founder of the Psychology program at the institution. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a full-time senior who is majoring in Psychology at Dowling College. An award of $250 will be made to the selected student during the final semester of the senior year. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize both outstanding academic achievement and humanitarian concern. The award will be based upon the following criteria:
Candidates may nominate themselves for this scholarship or nominations may be made by the Psychology faculty. The recipient of the Lucien Buck Psychology Endowed Scholarship cannot concurrently be the recipient of any other psychology achievement award(s). [Close Window]
