Dowling College student and Veteran, William Walsh, wrote and published his first book, Earthburner: Confessions of a Vigilante. William is a senior philosophy major at Dowling and is also a former U.S. Marine and Iraq war veteran. He was born and raised on Long Island and has appeared in over 9 independent films. This thrilling military/crime drama follows the confession of one man as he recounts a troubled past of scarring military service, a cold an unloving childhood, and even the murder of his best friend. Conceived by an act of violence and left abandoned, Allen is deprived of a fair upbringing. After his only friend becomes addicted to drugs Allen chooses violence as the solution to the problem. His military service finds him conducting secret and brutal operations against the enemy. Coming home mentally broken, he wages war on those that deserve to be dealt with.
