DOWLING COLLEGE ALUMNI REGATTA TO BE HELD NOV 1ST, 2008
Oakdale, NY- On Saturday, November 1st Dowling College is proud to sponsor the Annual Dowling College Alumni Cup Regatta.
Similar to last year, the Alumni 500-meter Sprint Event will be held for both men and women (four/w). Points will not be awarded for the Alumni 500m Sprint and the event is limited to 5 entries. This event is free of charge and is an excellent way to get your alumni involved with the team.
Dowling College is also sponsoring a "Tail Gate Party" along the banks of the river. Any inquires regarding the "Tail Gate Party" may be directed to our Office of Athletics at (631) 244-3342. This is a good time to get together, have some fun and food, and enjoy some great races!

This year Dowling Crew is asking that each team attending the regatta have their athletes and fans please bring a non-perishable food item for our annual holiday food drive. We take this opportunity to help out the less fortunate in keeping with the "Building Champions" tradition of Dowling Athletics. Also this year all proceeds from the entry fees will be donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The race will start at 8:00 am. The awards ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm.
