ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC RAISES OVER $85,000

On Monday August 27 over 150 administrators, coaches, students and community members took to the course for the 16th Annual Dowling College Athletics Golf Classic. This year’s outing proved to be a record-breaking one, as the event raised more than $85,000, a $39,000 spike from last year. All proceeds from the event go to the Athletics Annual Fund, which directly impacts the lives of the students-athletes.

“Without the support of Dowling College, the community and our sponsors this event wouldn't have been the success it was,” Rick Cole, Jr., Director of Athletics, commented. “Dowling Athletics is committed to providing each individual with the best experience possible and we continue to prepare our student-athletes for life-long successes as well as give them every opportunity to achieve their goals both athletically and academically.”
