Election for Executive Board Seats
January, 2012


Eligibility:

According to the following excerpt from the Dowling College Alumni Council Constitution,

To be eligible to serve on the Executive Board, an eligible nominee:

  1. Must have served as an elected Officer or Council member for at least one (1) full year within three (3) years from his/her taking their elected Executive Board positions; or

  2. Must have been active as a committee member of any standing committee for at least two (2) years, or must have served as a committee chairperson of a standing committee during at least one of those years, all within three (3) years from his/her nomination.

Procedure:
  • Nomination forms will be available on the Alumni Section of the Dowling College Website and sent via e-mail to all current Alumni Council Members.

  • Nomination forms may be submitted by any individual who has received a(n) undergraduate or graduate degree from Dowling College

  • Nominations must be submitted in writing no later than February 1, 2012.

  • The preferred method of submission is electronic; originally signed nomination forms should be sent to Kyle Valentine, Alumni Council Parliamentarian, via e-mail at kxv9@dowling.edu

  • In the event that a nomination form cannot be submitted electronically, it is to be postmarked no later than February 1, 2012 and sent via postal mail to:
