Brendan F. Buschi, B.A., '69, was presented with the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Award by S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook's School of Social Welfare at their 2006 Annual Distinguished Alumni Award. Brendan received his M.S.W. from Stony Brook in 1975.
