Dowling Alumni Awarded with Long Island’s Top Honor

Joseph Balcuk, M.S., ’05, founder and CEO of Precision Mathematics Corporation, which provides quality educational games to 21st century learners, is a 2011 awardee of Long Island Business News’ prestigious 40-Under-40 Award. In its 13th year recognizing some of Long Island’s most influential young business people, LIBN put the time and effort to create a spectacular event despite the massive snowstorm that pummeled the area just hours earlier. Balcuk, who is also an awarded author, game designer, and mathematician, was amid highly decorated accountants, financial advisors, and attorneys among others.
