Step 1:

Request a copy of your unofficial and official transcripts from all previously attended institutions of higher learning. Remember to have the unofficial transcript mailed to you directly, and the official transcript mailed directly to:

Dowling College
C/O Enrollment Services
150 Idle Hour Blvd
Oakdale, NY 11769-1999

Step 2:

Make an appointment with an Enrollment Services Counselor to evaluate your transcript and create your degree worksheet. (A worksheet is a listing of all the courses that are needed to complete a degree.) To schedule an appointment, please call 631-244-3303. Please note: Transfer credit is awarded for appropriate work completed, with a grade of C or better, at another accredited college or university. A student who transfers from a two-year college must ordinarily take his or her final 60 credits at a four-year institution. The last 30 credits earned prior to graduation must be taken at Dowling College.

Step 3:

Complete an Undergraduate Application for Enrollment to Dowling College. Click here to apply online. If you wish to have an Enrollment Package mailed, please call 1-800-DOWLING. You can also complete the application at the time of your appointment.

Step 4:

During your meeting, our counselor will guide you through the financial aid process and determine if you are eligible for a Transfer Scholarship.

Step 5:

Pending your application decision, our counselor can also assist you in enrolling for courses. Welcome to Dowling College!
