The Dowling College Professional Diploma in Technology forEducation enriches the instructional strategies of teachers and providesthem with the ability to incorporate a variety of technological activitiesinto their daily instructional plans. Teachers learn new and excitingprocesses that students can use to enhance learning within the class-room, the library and at home. Seven courses including a 6-creditpracticum comprise the Professional Diploma in Technology forEducation (24 credits).

Resources

The Dowling College Academic Computing Center is used as the instructional site for the program. The Computing Center houses computers that run under Windows operat- ing systems and is used for classroom presentations for individual lab assignments.
