The Tutoring Center
The Tutoring Center offers tutoring free of charge in all subjects to all Dowling College students.
The Center is designed to develop and refine the student’s academic skills. The dedicated staff offers personalized instruction that supplements and supports Dowling’s formal academic programs. Tutoring is available at the Oakdale Campus and the Brookhaven Center.
Stop in to the Student Services Center at either campus to get a schedule of tutors or to make an appointment. When you stop in, you will meet one of our work study students who will listen to your needs and then take appropriate action. If you don’t have time to stop in, call us and make an appointment to see a tutor or to find out the schedule for a specific subject.
