Jack O'Connor

Jack O'Connor serves as Director of Newmark's National Industrial Practice Group and as a principal in the firm's Long Island office.

Mr. O'Connor is a commercial and industrial brokerage veteran with more than 25 years experience, having held executive positions with a number of national commercial brokerage companies.

Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. O'Connor served as Senior Managing Director at CBRE's Long Island office. He has also worked at Grubb & Ellis, as executive vice president and managing director of the Long Island office and owned his own firm, Island Realty, based in Melville.

In 2002, Mr. O'Connor was awarded the "Broker of the Year" award by the Association for a Better Long Island and the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society for his part in the disposition of Enterprise Park at Calverton's 492-acre industrial core, which included more than 800,000 square feet of commercial space in 18 buildings.

His professional affiliations include: Dowling College, Trustee; Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology, Board of Directors; Stony Brook Community Fund; Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island, Advisory Board; Long Island Association, Real Estate Committee; and member of Hauppauge Industrial Association.

Mr. O'Connor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. John's University School of Business.
