Scott Rudolph

Scott Rudolph is currently the President of Piping Rock Health Products (“Piping Rock”), a vitamin and health supplement company which Mr. Rudolph founded in May 2011. Prior to forming Piping Rock, Scott was the CEO and Chairman of NBTY, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer and marketer of nutritional supplements. Scott was the founder of US Nutrition, Inc. a vitamin, mineral and nutritional supplement company which was purchased by NBTY in 1986. Shortly thereafter, Scott became Chief Executive Officer of NBTY.

Scott is a trustee at North Shore University Hospital and a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), an organization dedicated to the development of “better leadership through education and idea exchange.” Scott was the President of Dowling College from September 2010 to May of 2011, and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. He received an Honorary Doctor of Commercial Science degree from Dowling College. Scott is also an honorary member of Delta Mu Delta, the National Honor Society of Business Administration.

Over the years, Scott has been recognized for his dedicated service to the community. He received a proclamation from the New York State Senate, honoring him for his commitment to Youth Activities and Education. He was also named the Distinguished Honoree by the Suffolk Community Center and in that same year, the British-American Chamber of Commerce presented him with the Transatlantic Business Award.

Scott was named Master Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999. That same year, Promote Long Island, NY honored him for his service to the community.
