Dr. Patricia M. Blake brings a distinguished record of accomplishment to Dowling College. Her career in teaching higher education spans almost thirty years. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from The College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, New York, she earned a Juris Doctor in 1983 from Pace University School of Law was the founding attorney of Patricia Blake, P.C. where she concentrates her practice in various areas of the law including education, banking, wills, trusts and estates.
Dr. Patricia M. Blake established, and organized under New York State Law, Raynor Country Day School an independent and not for profit Pre-K through 6th Grade School. She obtained the school’s New York State Charter and wrote the school’s initial curriculum. She currently advises the Board of Directors and represents the school on education issues, policies, and curriculum development.
Dr. Patricia Blake received her Doctorate of Education from Dowling College. She is a distinguished presenter of issues regarding school law and independent and charter schools. She is an active member of her community and sits on the Board of Trustees of Blanca’s House, a non-profit group that provides medical assistance in foreign countries. Dr. Blake currently resides in East Moriches with her five adopted children.
