Joseph K. Posillico

Joseph K. Posillico is President/CEO of Posillico, and he has served as Dowling College’s Secretary of the Board of Trustees since 2011. As President/CEO of one of the largest heavy construction companies in the New York Metropolitan area, his responsibilities include the overseeing of all estimating/coordinating bids, seeking project opportunities, handling claims/change orders for completed projects, management of key personnel, and leading Corporate Strategic Planning. In 1981, he began his career with Exxon Company, USA, where he oversaw the construction and modernization of Exxon’s retail stations on Long Island, New York. In 1983, he became Manager of Exxon’s Oil Transfer facility in Oceanside, New York. Then, from 1985 until 1987, he was in charge of the operation of Exxon Co., USA’s Everett, MA oil transfer facility. Operations at this facility included the handling of over 10 million barrels of petroleum products per year (with shipment/receipt of this product via barge), pipeline, and tank truck. Joe graduated from Villanova University magma cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and completed graduate school management courses in Finance and Business Law at St. John’s University in 1982 and 1983.
