Professor Mascia

Lawrence Mascia combines art and interactivity to create unimaginable beauty mixed with unmistakeable horror. He has spent time working for top record labels and design firms around New York. After working in the graphic design industry for many years, Lawrence earned his MFA in Design and Technology from The New School. Professor Mascia is currently running Goodnight Games, a game development house for iOS.

Before deciding to teach and break into gaming Lawrence has run the gamut in job experience. He has designed holiday decorations for Martha Stewart, print work for Trustkill Records and interface design for Sortasoft. His work has been featured in Time Out: New York, The Village Voice, New York Magazine and Pitchfork: TV. Lawrence is now working full time for Dataplayed with hit iPhone games such as Sweatshop Superstar, Bumpin' and Greased Up.

Lawrence splits his time teaching between Dowling College, New York Institute of Technology and The New School.
