The Anthony Giordano Gallery at Dowling College presents Sensory Observation: Spanning Realism and Abstraction, a drawing exhibition featuring large-scale images of the natural world by artists Dawn Lee and Lorena Salcedo-Watson.

Both Lee and Salcedo-Watson have identified themselves as artists whose work is well-established in two-dimensional imagery.  The focal point of this exhibition is their connection to mark-making and paper as well to the environment. Whether it is the human figure, rain on water or the creatures that inhabit the natural world, these artists explore relationships between life forms, their morphologies, and the essence of their living energy.
