This exciting course will show you how to assess your financial situation and develop a personalized plan to achieve your retirement goals. Due to ongoing changes in the tax laws, an uncertain future for Social Security, and an increasing level of market volatility, the need for sound financial strategies has never been greater. In straightforward language, you will learn techniques for maximizing retirement income, managing investment risks, protecting your nest egg, and preserving your estate. Although sound money management is critical, this course also addresses life planning for retirement, traditional vs. new retirement concepts, contemporary retirement opportunities, and how to align your money with your values to accomplish your life objectives. Each participant will receive a 225-page workbook with examples, illustrations, and valuable worksheets. George Roach, Chief Attorney for the Legal Aid Society’s Senior Citizens Division will conduct this workshop designed to provide an overview of many important issues in elder law. Topics covered include: advanced directives, living wills, health care proxies and do-not-resuscitate (DNR) orders that allow individuals to provide instruction for health providers, even when a patient is incapacitated. In addition, this program will provide an update of current rules and regulations regarding the Medicaid program, especially as it relates to long-term care and nursing home coverage.

Designed to introduce the amazing workout inspired by Joseph Pilates, this class will gently lead you through
a variety of Pilates exercises to strengthen your abdominal muscles, deep postural muscles and lower back -
essential to support your spine. These exercises will also lengthen your muscles creating a leaner you!
Resistance with the use of weights to add muscle mass and create stronger bones is added. Join us for this
“new and exciting” workout for seniors. Registration is limited, so please don’t wait. Participants will need a
sticky mat, water bottle, and either a 2lb. or 3lb. set of weights. Instructor: Lisa Nadeau
