Spring 2008 Education Recruitment Program
Instructions on How to Review Participating Local Schools and Submit Resume
- Login onto eCampus by going to www.dowling.edu/careerservices. Click on POST YOUR RESUME and enter the username and password you established. Call 631-244-3158 if you require help to recall your username and password. Only qualified registrants can participate. If you get the message that you are not qualified, contact Career Services at 631-244-3158 to resolve your status to grant you access so that you can submit your resume to local school districts.
- Click onto the Interviews & Events icon. Doing so will allow you to view the list* of participating public and private school districts. *PLEASE NOTE: Local school districts are being added daily, so please be sure to login several times throughout the submission period of January 1-25, 2008. Resumes will be forwarded to the schools after the January 25th deadline, not before.
- Select a school district by double clicking onto their event name. You will then see detailed information. Please note that there are two types of events:
· Resume Collect – these schools are collecting Dowling College resumes
but will not interview at Dowling. They will interview at their own location on their
specified date and time.
· Interview – school districts that will conduct interviews at Dowling College on
Friday, March 7, 2008 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
These interviews are pre-scheduled only for those pre- screened/chosen by
the school district
- As per your agreement form, you may submit “online” your resume ONLY to those school districts that specify that they are recruiting for your certification area(s).
- You will be notified via e-mail after you have submitted your resume (confirmation of submission) and if you have been selected in order to schedule an interview time on March 7, 2008. You will also be notified IF the school you submitted your resume to has elected not to interview you at this time (which will occur starting on
February 15, 2008).
- Interviews through Dowling College will be scheduled and posted online via a first-come, first-serve basis. We cannot guarantee a “preferred” interview time so you must be available to schedule your interview/s between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008.
NOTE: Out-of-State/Upstate Schools will be posted on a later date.
