Become a Leader in Aviation

Dowling College Flying Lions Rank 21st in U.S. at NFIA SAFECON

The first lesson you will learn at Dowling's School of Aviation is that there are many exciting careers in aviation besides flying planes. Our graduates are intensely recruited because employers know they have a balanced liberal arts background as well as experience with the industry's most advanced equipment.

The Dowling College School of Aviation is situated at Brookhaven Airport, which enables extensive flying opportunities not present at other collegiate aviation programs. Three Frasca flight simulators are available 24-7, and we maintain our own fleet of Piper aircraft. Dowling is one of only 36 approved colleges & universities in the U.S. that participates in the AT-CTI program, providing students an opportunity to become Air Traffic Controllers

The faculty in the Aviation Management Program are dedicated to providing students with an understanding of the nature, functions, structure and procedures of the air transportation industry. Students are educated to excel as administrators managers and operators in the variety of businesses related to flying.

Our B.S. in Aviation Management students are provided a comprehensive liberal education from selected courses in the School of Arts and Sciences and an understanding of the nature of business from selected courses in the School of Business

Our M.B.A. in Aviation Management is a 36-credit program that combines core business courses with an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by the air transport industry today.
