Dr. Eric Shyman, Dowling Assistant Professor of Special Education has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Teacher’s College of Columbia University in recognition of his contributions to the social sciences and academia.
Dowling College’s BS in Aviation Management program has become the first in New York State to be accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International, and is one of only 34 institutions nation-wide to have earned AABI accreditation.
